Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to request deletion of the data that re.scoop processes through the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Platform. In accordance with the Meta Platform Terms, re.scoop provides these instructions so that you can request deletion of your data at any time.
About the data we process
re.scoop is a unified inbox that helps creators manage the messages and comments they receive on their connected channels. When you connect an Instagram professional account through Facebook Login, re.scoop receives and stores data from that account in order to provide the service.
What will be deleted
When you submit a valid deletion request, or when you disconnect re.scoop from your account, we delete the data we obtained through the Meta Platform, including:
- Connected account information: Instagram account ID, username, and profile picture
- Comments and replies collected from your posts
- Direct message threads, including thread identifiers, participant identifiers, and message content
- Data derived from the above, such as AI-generated classification tags, thread summaries, and priority scores
- Access tokens issued when you connected your account
How to request deletion
You can use any of the following:
- Revoke re.scoop's access on Facebook. Because re.scoop connects through Facebook Login for Business, the authorization appears under your Facebook Business Integrations. Go to Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → Active, select re.scoop, and click Remove.
- Disconnect the account inside re.scoop. Go to Home, select your space name in the bottom-left corner, then go to Settings → Connected accounts → Disconnect. Disconnecting removes the data we collected from that channel.
- Contact us. Email contact@iconx.co.kr and include the connected Instagram @username and the email address tied to your re.scoop account so we can locate your data.
Processing time
We complete deletion without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days of a valid request or of disconnection (or sooner where applicable law requires), including any copies stored in backups.
What will not be deleted
- Content that remains on Instagram or Facebook itself, such as your original posts, comments, or messages on the network. These are controlled by Meta and must be deleted there.
- Data held by other platforms or services that re.scoop does not operate.
- Information we are required to keep by law, retained only for the period the law requires and then deleted.
